Today I experienced enforced silence. This is because we went to the Urbane Lion's family cottage, where the predominant language spoken and understood is French. I neither speak nor understand French. This was pointed out to the room at large as soon as I walked in, by the Six Year Old Niece, who turned to her friend and said "Elle parle anglaise!" I am not sure whether she meant "Please excuse her, she speaks English, and is therefore a bit odd" or "She speaks English, and is therefore an exotic creature." I, of course, am going with the latter. At any rate, it meant a quiet afternoon of photography, so I have some included some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Notice the 'faces' on the two rocks. The first one I have entitled L'homme du lac, and the second one, Water Puppy.

Brilliant photos! I love the rock faces! I've got a couple rock faces in that batch of pics I took in the enchanted forest, too - it's amazing to find life's treasures hidden right before our eyes. Seeing these brings a smile to my face this morning. My favorite image here, though, is that long shot of the stream - absolutely gorgeous! Loving your camera work!
Blessings,

Wendi - thanks, glad they brought a smile to your face. My favourite is the flower with the ant. I didn't know the little fellow was there until I looked at the photo after the fact. However, I love water, so enjoy taking shots of streams and lakes. Thank you for the compliment. Photography ranks right up there with writing for me. I 'see' the world in stories and pictures.
